Engineering that helps people.
I'm Ben, an engineer who likes solving small, stubborn problems with the tools I have on hand. Right now most of those tools are a 3D printer and a CAD program, and most of those problems come from people who need a part that simply does not exist off the shelf.
The flagship work on this site is designing and printing custom assistive parts for people with disabilities, free of charge. If a small object could make a daily task easier for you or someone you support, I would like to help.
What you'll find here
Assistive 3D printing
Custom grips, holders, mounts, and adapters, designed around one person's actual hands, tools, and goals, then printed and refined until they work.
Build logs and notes
Honest write-ups of what I made, what I got wrong the first time, and the design choices behind each part. Useful if you want to print your own version.

Have a part in mind, or support someone who might? Tell me about the task you are trying to make easier and I will reply.
